玉露園のこんぶ茶は北海道羅臼産の良質ラウス昆布を主として使用しています。

ラウス昆布は北海道知床の国後（クナシリ）島側にだけ生えている最高級の昆布のことです。
茶褐色で丈のある優良昆布でリシリ系エナガオニコンブの別称があり、生産高もわずかで品質がとびぬけてすぐれている高価な昆布です。

Gyokuroen's kombu tea mainly uses high-quality Rausu kombu from Rausu, Hokkaido.

Rausu kombu is the highest quality kombu that grows only on the Kunashiri Island side of Shiretoko, Hokkaido.

It is a high-quality kombu that is brown and tall, and is also known as the Rishiri type long-tailed kombu. It is produced in small quantities, but is an expensive kombu of exceptional quality.
