特上くき茶（抹茶入）Special Kuki cha (Stem tea) with matcha 200g

くき茶はくきの部分だけ選別したお茶で、甘い香りと苦みの少ない軽めの味が持ち味です。
見た目に反し、アミノ酸をたっぷり含んでいて、入れ方次第では濃厚な旨味が味わえます。

通常の深蒸し茶に比べて、少しだけ味が出にくいので、抽出時間（蒸らす時間）を多めにとるのがポイントです。

淹れたときの色と渋みが控えめでクセがないので、アレンジが容易に楽しめます。

柑橘類とも相性がいいので、レモンを加えると爽快感のある味わいになます。
Stem tea is made from the selected parts of the twig, characterized by its sweet aroma and light flavor with little bitterness.
Contrary to its appearance, it is rich in amino acids, and depending on the brewing method, one can experience a rich umami flavor.
Compared to regular deep-steamed tea, it is a bit more challenging to extract flavor, so the key is to take a longer brewing time.
The color when brewed is subtle and has a gentle astringency, making it easy to enjoy a variety of arrangements.
It pairs well with citrus fruits, and adding lemon enhances the refreshing taste.

茎茶の飲み方は、煎茶とほぼ同じです。
まず急須に茎茶を入れます。1人分あたり5gほどが目安です。
そこに、温度を80度くらいに少し冷ましたお湯を注ぎます。
急須に蓋をして、40〜60秒ほど蒸らします。
※茎茶は通常のお茶よりも抽出されにくいため、少し長めに蒸らしましょう。
　長く蒸らしすぎると苦くなるので、注意してください。

あとは急須から茶碗に注げばOK。最後の1滴まで注ぎ切りましょう。

The way to drink stem tea is almost the same as for sencha.
Place the stem tea in a kyusu (teapot). About 5g per person is a good guideline.
Pour slightly cooled water at around 80 degrees Celsius into the teapot.
Cover the kyusu and let it steep for about 40 to 60 seconds.
*Since stem tea is harder to extract than regular tea,
let it steep a little longer. Be careful not to steep it too long, as it can become bitter.
After that, simply pour from the kyusu into the teacup. Be sure to pour every last drop.
