It has been ten years since we were recognized at the highest level as a World Agricultural Heritage site for practicing
the 'Tea Grassland Farming Method' of Shizuoka Prefecture.
This recognition was given for our efforts to protect Japan's ancient plants,
insects, and small animals, which is work that has been continued for hundreds of years.
In modern terms, it could be called SDGs (Sustainable Development Goals).
The tea has a rich aroma and deep flavor.

川根茶の深蒸し茶は健康にも良いお茶です。

茶葉には、カテキンやカフェイン、アミノ酸、ビタミン、ミネラル、食物繊維などの栄養成分が含まれていますが、
食物繊維や一部ミネラル、ビタミンなどはお湯に溶けずに茶葉の中に残ってしまいます。

しかし、深蒸し茶は、茶葉が細かくて茶漉しを通過してしまうものもあるため、茶葉の栄養がそのままがとれるお茶なのです。
